Running a fashion business is hard. Running a fashion business is even harder. The fashion industry is a challenging field, but it is incredibly rewarding, and I’m here to make it easier for you.
If you’re like me and want to make the world a better place, you’ve come to the right place.
We might not know each other yet, but I firmly believe in crossing paths with the right people at the right time. I want to share my journey with you…
I launched my first circular fashion label at the age of 24 and my first fashion events and PR company at 26. Later, I started the country’s first and largest exclusively made online fashion store. In 2016, I founded L Dee Photography, which evolved into one of the largest online stores for ethical and sustainable fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. It was a remarkable journey.
L Dee Photography hosted the country’s largest sustainable fashion runway at the Melbourne Fashion Festival. We opened two of the best ethical and sustainable fashion stores in Melbourne. We stocked some of the country’s most innovative sustainable and circular fashion designers. With the support of our wonderful community of customers, we donated thousands of dollars to good causes every year.
At a time when the fashion industry didn’t value or understand sustainability, it was our core focus. It was tough going against the grain, but we persevered, and we thrived. L Dee Photography became a multi-award-winning eCommerce store, leading the conversation for change in the fashion industry.
Over the eight years I ran L Dee Photography as an online store, we achieved incredible things. Despite the hardships, I loved every minute of it and learned invaluable lessons along the way.
When I was pregnant with my daughter, I realized the future I was creating wasn’t just my own. Every decision, impact, and choice I made would shape the world for the next generation. I wanted to ensure I was running the best possible business with the most significant positive impact.
So, in 2024, I re-launched, re-branded, and re-birthed L Dee Photography. Now, I’m sharing everything I know about business, fashion, and sustainability through my online courses and mentoring. My goal is to help ethical, sustainable, circular, and slow fashion brands and businesses thrive in one of the toughest industries.
I aim to change the fashion industry for the better from the inside out. I work with fashion brands and businesses that collectively determine whether fashion becomes a solution for global problems or a serious issue for our future.
Fashion itself isn’t bad; fast fashion is. Ethical, sustainable, circular, and slow fashion is the positive force I want to see more of. I’m determined to help good brands succeed because the world needs more goodness.
